Scar therapy
Treatment content and options
Scar therapy according to Dr Hans Ulrich Reiss is a method specifically aimed at improving the structure and appearance of scar tissue and alleviating possible discomfort caused by scars.
We treat your superficial scars using regulatory medicine. We use a thin injection needle to infiltrate a local anaesthetic directly into the scar tissue using a tunnelling technique and, if necessary, a homeopathic preparation.
This is used to treat the ‘scar’ interference field. This also leads to an improvement in elasticity and thus a reduction in pain and discomfort.
Scars – are often a trigger for diseases
Scars are one of the causes of pain in more than 40 % of chronic pain patients. With scar removal, a significant improvement can usually be achieved very quickly. Improvements can also be achieved in cancer patients.
The complaints caused by disrupted scars are varied and can be very serious, affecting the body or mind and even leading to life-threatening illnesses.
After scar removal treatments, many pain conditions as well as other symptoms of chronic illnesses often disappear quickly, even if these symptoms were previously attributed to other illnesses.
Disturbed scars
If the scar area is numb, itchy, painful, very pale or reddened, a ‘scar interference field’ is suspected.
Therapy
The easiest way to ‘decongest’ the scars is through neural therapy with a local anaesthetic and/or laser treatment. The most effective method is to inject the scars with a local anaesthetic. Usually 2-5 sessions are necessary until the success stabilises permanently, in simple cases one treatment is sufficient, in difficult cases (many scars, many previous illnesses, many suppurations, many traumas) it may be necessary to carry out the treatment more frequently and then repeat it at approx. 12-month intervals.
